Honey Garlic Chicken
Ingredients:
•
4 chicken breasts
•
Salt and pepper to season to taste
•
1 tsp. garlic powder
•
4 garlic cloves crushed
•
¼ c. honey
•
¼ c. water
•
1 TSBP. Vinegar (I prefer apple cider but any will work)
•
¾ tsp. soy sauce
Directions:
Season chicken with the salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook the chicken over
medium heat until browned on both sides. Reduce the heat and continue to cook
until it is cooked thoroughly turning every 5 minutes. Cook until chicken is 165
degrees.
Drain all but about 2 TBSP. of juices from the pan and discard.
Add the garlic and fry until fragrant then add the honey, water, vinegar, and
soy sauce. Increase the heat to medium-high.
Cook until the sauce reduces and slightly thickens (about 3-4 minutes).
Serve with rice, vegetables, pasta, or a salad.
